The Catamount Cutting Board was designed with multiple grooves to catch those pesky breadumbs as you slice, helping to keep your countertop a bit tidier. It's just the thing for your favorite homemade loaf, whether you are an old hand at bread baking or giving it a try for the first time.
We named it after the catamount statue located at the Braintree Meeting House on Braintree Hill Road, just down the road from our shop here in Vermont. The catamount isn't something you see everyday, and neither is a cutting board quite like this one. We thought the name - and the local connection fit just right.
A useful piece for the kitchen, a little piece of the neighborhood and a nod to the place we call home.
